Then he heard someone calling him from up the hill: ‘Juan, dear. Dearest Juan Diego.’ He then ventured to go where the voice was calling him. He was not a bit alarmed: on the contrary, he very happily climbed the hill to see from where the voice was calling him. At the top he saw a Lady standing there, telling him to come closer . . . She said to him: ‘Listen, Juan, dear, smallest of my sons, where are you going?’ He replied: ‘My Lady, my Queen, and my little girl, I am going to your house in Mexico-Tlatelolco, to praise and serve God as taught us by our priests, the representatives of our Lord.’ She then spoke to him and revealed her holy will: ‘Know and understand, smallest of my sons! I am the ever-virgin, holy Mary, Mother of the true God; the life-giving Creator of all people; the Lord of what is near and what is far, of heaven and earth. I deeply desire that a chapel be built to me he where I can show, praise and testify to him forever. Here I will give people all my love, compassion, help, comfort and salvation . . .’ From the 1649 text by Luis Lasso de la Vega of a narrative written by Antonio Valeriano a century before.

Watch out!
Wednesday, December 12, Wednesday Party of our lady Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe! Patroness of the unborn Come pray for the conversion and consolation of souls! Come and pray! For the conversion and consolation of souls! Church Saint-Malo church 19h00/7:00pm The longing for true unity in spirit and in truth causes one to seek farther. One must follow the way of Jesus, sacrifice oneself, and take up one’s cross daily. This desire leads to listening to and learning from others. It challenges the heart to open itself, to trust in one’s brothers and sisters and put them first, before one’s own ambitions. That is certainly difficult. If the unity about which Jesus speaks and for which he prays is to be a unity built on truth, it needs to be both self-searching and reconciling. It makes amends for injustices and prays for the wounds and divisions in the Body of Christ.
—PAUL BADDE from Maria of Guadalupe: Shaper of History, Shaper of Hearts When we say that God became man, we do not mean to say that heaven was empty. That would be to think of heaven as a kind of a space, like a room that was twenty by thirty feet. When God came to this world, he did not leave heaven empty. When he came to this world, he was not shaved down, whittled down to human proportions. Rather, Christ was the life of God dwelling in human flesh. St. Thomas Aquinas includes a very beautiful description of this in one of his hymns. He said, ‘The heavenly Word proceeding forth, yet leaving not the Father's side.’
—VENERABLE FULTON J. SHEEN Here are the prayers for today Feast of the Immaculate Conception:
Dear Lord Jesus, I have specific requests that may only partially fill the infinite needs and desires that are in my heart. I ask that You answer me not only for those requests but also for a greater reliance on You to satisfy the needs and desires that You have given me. Please grant the prayers of all those who prayed this novena with me. Bless them with Your love and make them holy! May I seek You with a sincere heart knowing that it will profit me nothing if I gain the whole world yet lose my soul. So, help me to see Your good and gracious purpose in all my trials. Help me to see Your blessings in every day and help me to love You more. Thank You for everything, Lord Jesus! Amen. We're almost done! We will have one final prayer tomorrow, but first...
We would like to ask everyone to pray for a very important intention. We want you to pray for yourself. Not to alleviate your own suffering. We all pray for that all the time :) Let's pray for the willingness to suffer for the sake of coming closer to Jesus. That is, for holiness. Pray and ask that God make you a Saint. This is the most important thing. It's more important than healing, more important than money, more important than everything because by being holy, you will gain everything in Christ. How are you to be holy? Christ gave us two great commandments. Love God. Love others as you love yourself. It's not easy. Love requires sacrifice. We must be willing to sacrifice. That's why we need the Blessed Virgin Mary's prayers and God's grace! Here are the prayers for today: O most pure Virgin Mary conceived without sin, from the very first instant, you were entirely immaculate. O glorious Mary full of grace, you are the mother of my God – the Queen of Angels and of men. I humbly venerate you as the chosen mother of my Savior, Jesus Christ. The Prince of Peace and the Lord of Lords chose you for the singular grace and honor of being His beloved mother. By the power of His Cross, He preserved you from all sin. Therefore, by His power and love, I have hope and bold confidence in your prayers for my holiness and salvation. I pray that your prayers will bring me to imitate your holiness and submission to Jesus and the Divine Will. Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Now, Queen of Heaven, I beg you to beg my Savior to grant me these requests… (Mention your intentions) My holy Mother, I know that you were obedient to the will of God. In making this petition, I know that God’s will is more perfect than mine. So, grant that I may receive God’s grace with humility like you. As my final request, I ask that you pray for me to increase in faith in our risen Lord; I ask that you pray for me to increase in hope in our risen Lord; I ask that you pray for me to increase in love for the risen Jesus! Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Because [Christ] is born in a cave, all who wish to see him must bend, must stoop, and the stoop is the mark of humility. The proud refuse to stoop. Therefore they miss divinity. Those, however, who are willing to risk bending their egos to go into that cave, find that they are not in a cave at all; but there are in a universe where sits a babe on his mother’s lap, the babe who made the world.
Today, let's pray for all those who have fallen away from the faith. Let's pray for those who have strayed from the flock of God and those who have rejected their faith.
Jesus says that there will be great rejoicing in Heaven when one who was lost returns to Him. So, let's pray that, especially those close to us, will return to their Church and their loving God! Here are the prayers for today: O most pure Virgin Mary conceived without sin, from the very first instant, you were entirely immaculate. We are like an arrow that is made by the Lord to hit the target of joy, of good, of Love. When we sin or when we have sinned, we have missed the target, so repentance is what is needed to align ourselves to the real target.
—Fr. PAOLO BENANTI, TOR, Professor Pontificia Universita Gregoriana from Sign of Contradiction Today, let's pray for motherhood. Mary was the mother of our Savior, Jesus. The Church honors her so greatly because of the very important role that motherhood plays in our lives.
She was tender. She was loving. She was a blessing to Jesus and she is a blessing to us! Let's pray for all mothers. Let's pray that they will be just like Mary in how loving, tender and giving they are to their children and families. "Be patient, because the weaknesses of the body are given to us in this world by God for the salvation of the soul. So they are of great merit when they are borne patiently."
— St. Francis of Assisi Let's pray today for healing. Let's pray for the healing of relationships, minds and physical bodies.

And the chalice, or rather its content, how is it His Blood? These elements are called Sacraments, because in them one thing is perceived by the sense and another thing by the mind. What is seen has a bodily appearance; what the mind perceives produces spiritual fruit. You hear the words, ‘The Body of Christ’, and you answer ‘Amen.’"
— Saint Augustine Today, let's pray for all of those suffering from financial hardship. Let's pray for resolutions to these difficult situations.
Let's also pray that while things are hard and money is tight for individuals and families, that this hardship brings them together rather than tearing them apart. Let's pray that if it must last, that it brings them closer to God. We live in such a poverty of truth today.’ - Mother Angelica (to me many years ago.),” Arroyo wrote.(Raymond Arroyo sharing what Mother Angelica told him, reporter and host from the World Over program on EWTN-Eternal Word Television Network)
Our hearts must become strong, to make the divine heartbeat into the law of life again.
—FR. ALFRED DELP, S.J. from Advent of the Heart: Seasonal Sermons and Prison Writings One of the amazing things about Mary is the Immaculate Conception. She was preserved from sin by the grace of God. She is perfectly pure.
Today, let's pray for purity. Let's pray for the purity of our bodies, that we may treat them as temples of the Holy Spirit. Let's pray for the purity of our minds, that we may have holy thoughts. Let's pray for the purity of our hearts, that we may see God. Pray that God will grant us, and the world, greater purity in all respects. Living a life of penance is going to produce fruits of penance—fruits of penance like works of mercy, helping with the poor, education, but also fruits like peace and joy.
